Michael Jones

I have been involved in gundogs since I was a kid, growing up in Wales.

My name is Mike Jones and, together with my partner Caroline, we run a small training and trialling kennel. Wauniago is our affix. We currently live in Newbury, England.

I have trained dogs since I was 18 years old, working with both Labradors and Spaniels. Initially, I only trained for my own benefit, as I developed a passion for rough shooting and needed a dog that could both flush and retrieve game.

Trialling and working tests did not become part of my journey until 2010, when I bought a yellow dog that I felt was a little more special than any of the others I had owned before.
